Andrew Garrett Daugherty received a Bachelor
of Arts in Politics with a minor in Philosophy
from Wake Forest University in 2002. While at
Wake Forest Mr. Daugherty was awarded the Bif
Myers Scholarship and was a member of the Mu Alpha
Nu society. He received his Juris Doctor from
Emory University School of Law in 2005, where
he was named the winner of the Spring 2005 Moot
Court Competition. As an associate at Hamilton,
Westby, Antonowich & Anderson, Mr. Daugherty’s
practice primarily focuses on insurance defense
(including workers' compensation and liability
defense) and commercial litigation.
Mr. Daugherty has volunteered his time to represent
Wake Forest University at College Fairs around
the Atlanta area. He is also a member of the President’s
Associates Club at Wake Forest University for
young alumni. Because he enjoyed and benefited
from the Georgia Mock Trial program while in high
school, Mr. Daugherty serves on the Sub-Committee
on Rules for the program and helps coach a team
at Chamblee High School. He also is a member of
the Booster Club for the Walker School in Marietta,
Georgia and is an active member of the United
Methodist Church. He enjoys bowling and hiking
in his spare time. |
