Joseph Trotter Brasher is an Atlanta native and
a partner at Hamilton, Westby, Antonowich &
Anderson, where he has practiced law as a civil
litigator since 1995. He has an AV rating from
Martindale-Hubble. Mr. Brasher is dedicated to providing
“personal service and value” to his
clients.
Mr. Brasher attended Oriel College of Oxford University,
Oxford England in 1986, received his Bachelor
of Arts degree in 1990 from the University of
Georgia and his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School
of Law, Samford University in 1993. While at Cumberland,
Mr. Brasher was a member of the Cumberland Law
Review and the recipient of a full tuition Dean’s
Merit Scholarship. At Hamilton, Westby, Antonowich
& Anderson, Mr. Brasher’s practice is
concentrated in the areas of civil litigation, workers' compensation defense, general liability defense, commercial litigation and subrogation. He is admitted to all state and federal
courts in Georgia and Alabama and is qualified
as an Attorney of the Supreme Court of the United
States of America. He is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Mr. Brasher and his wife are active members of
Decatur First United Methodist Church, where he
has served as Lay Leader and held various positions
on the Finance Committee, Building Committee and
Ministry Board. He also serves on the Board of
Directors and Executive Committee of Honduras
Outreach, Inc., a charitable organization dedicated
to providing health and education services to
the people of Honduras. He has also been a
member of the Druid Hills Civic Association, having
served on the Board of Directors from 2001 through
2003. He enjoys Southeastern Conference football
and coaching youth soccer and baseball. |
